How to Build a Successful eRetailer: Let’s learn how to break through the eCommerce industry!

Welcome back to the eCommerce forum!

eRetailing is the selling of retail items on the Internet. Companies like Amazon and Dell have helped shape the online retail industry by putting their customer experience online. Learning from other online companies is essential for online business owners. This September, we will have an amazing speaker at our eCommerce Meetup. He will share his experience as a founder of an eRetailer. More specifically, he will discuss what he has learned during his company’s first year. HoodRiderz is an eRetailer that offers personal transportation. Moreover, they sell innovative, eco-friendly transportation products. HoodRiderz’s Ninebot Segway Mini helps customers move in congested areas.  Hands-free and self-balancing, this product is not only effective; it’s also fun.

Tim Haden is founder of HoodRiderz. Additionally, he has 15+ years experience working in client-facing positions with Fortune 500 companies. Some clients include:

  • – NBC Universal
  • – Mandarin Oriental
  • – NASDAQ
  • – AMEX
  • – Jaguar Land Rover
  • – Ubisoft
  • – MetLife
  • – Unilever

These positions leveraged analytics, personalization and targeting. In addition to content management and advertising technologies. This experience also brought Tim to Tapad, a company in cross device connectivity and fluidity. At Tapad, he managed Enterprise Solutions. In order for Tim to bring Tapad’s technology to the market, he:
